Why Fapturbo Doesn't Work Anymore

Unless you live in a cave or you are not on any other forex mailing lists, you will no doubt have been inundated with emails (same slick sales letter, slightly reworded) for Fapturbo's latest product. Fapturbo Evolution. I am going to try it out, but what caught my eye amongst all the marketing emails was this little gem of a phrase:

"What are the differences between all the crappy metatrader 4 robots and this new java based platform one? Yes this is taken from one of those slick emails from the makers of the original Fapturbo robot. Er isn't Fapturbo Mark I a "crappy metatrader 4 robot" ? Guess what its still for sale !

Fapturbo worked when it was originally released but the problem was that its creators were either naive or greedy. Possibly a combination of both ? They ended up selling over 40.000 copies. Fapturbo became a victim of its own success.

The problem was that some of the forex brokers were taking a hammering, so as I explained in yesterdays post about how to find a good forex broker http://forex-fxtrader.com/blog/forex-broker-how-to-find-a-good-one/ the brokers found ways to fight and beat it.

A forex broker is on the opposite side of your "bet. " Guess what if he has 100's, possibly 1000's of clients using a robot that is costing him money he doesnt like it, particularly during the night when traders are thin on the ground .

The brokers started to come up with little tricks to beat or negate the profitability of Fapturbo. It is a scalping robot, aiming for small consistant profits. What the brokers did was during the asian session particularly, they widened the spreads so far that fapturbo couldn't trade profitably or even worse could make say 7 pips profit but lose because the spread had been widened to 8 or more pips !

Some brokers simply refused point blank to allow fapturbo owners to trade with them.

Others would manipulate the prices to take out stops (known as stop hunting). Imagine if you have 500 fapturbo clients all in the same trade and you can spike all their stops ? Job done.

I do know people who have had fapturbo for a while and were doing ok, but its performance has tailed off alarmingly in the last few months. that is the reason why. The makers sold too many copies.

They appear to have learned their lesson and say that they will limit sales with this new robot, Fapturbo Evolution to 2000. Ironically I don't think that it is necessary this time.

The amazing thing with this new one, Fapturbo Evolution is that it will not be based on a broker, but with an ECN, Dukascopy. I explained in yesterdays article that an ECN simply places your trade in the market with a very small spread and charges a small commission.

You are trading against other traders NOT against Dukascopy. For them, the more people that are trading successfully the more commission they make. This is why, irrespective of this product that it is in my opinion best to be trading with an ECN, simon posted here on the blog yesterday that he uses an ECN where he only needed $400 to open the account so it looks like things might be changing for the better for all of us.

If you are seriously interested i would suggest that you do it straight away. The Fapturbo Evolution promotion launches this week, as a result they are likely to be swamped with new account applications and your application will be delayed.

If you are seriuosly interested get in ahead of the rush. Even if you have no interest in forex robots it is a one off chance to open an account with a relatively small amount of funding (it will go back to $50.000 afterwards).
