Free Daily Forex Signal Service
I read a startling article the other day where a forex mentor acknowledged that out of the 293 members who started his intensive (read expensive) forex mentoring program, after 12 months these were the results;
- * Only 121 still had trading accounts
* Only 27 had made a profit.
* Only 14 had made more than a 50% return
* Only 6 had doubled their accounts or better
I am beginning to think that for many of you that a decent signal service may be the solution. The problem is that many of you have so many commitments, jobs, family, hobbies you haven’t the time nor enough money to get you through the difficult forex learning curve.
I have been (and still am) reviewing a number of signal providers. Some are ok, one or two seem very good and others I am not so sure. Many seem expensive. Some require you to be very “hands on”, ie you have to sit at your computer until xyz happens before you can walk away. Your day J.O.B’s tend to get in the way of this !
What I thought I would do is try a trial, limited daily free signal service for a couple of weeks, starting Sunday 23rd August Pre Tokyo Open.
I will send, to those of you who want to be included, signals based on the daily charts. There is a misconception that trading daily charts is more risky/costly than smaller time-frames. It is not the case, you just risk the same amount of cash, but reduce the $ per pip amount. I will explain to those who wish to give it a go.
For those who have a job/limited time daily is actually the best way to trade. I personally intend to limit myself to only daily and 4 hour charts when I resume trading in the next few weeks.
Anyway we can give it a try, run it on a demo. Costs you nothing but 15 minutes a day!! You need to email me at this address admin@forex-fxtrader.com if you wish to be included).I will probably post the updates on you tube later in the day. If it works may use this & LMT for the challenge.
Tom Strignano’s Signal Service
Last week I mentioned that I had been reviewing a service that had been sending me forex trading signals since the beginning of June. I get 5 or 6 forex products offered a week and I haven’t time to look at most of them.
However, with this service I sat down over the holidays and had a look back at the signals and realised that they were profitable, some weeks very profitable. This week I have been following Toms signals live (playing around with a demo account whilst doing other things). This is a terrible time of year to be reviewing any forex product BUT there is good news & bad news.
Positive
- Tom Strignano is a 25 year forex trading veteran who has run teams of traders for major banks. A friend of mine (who is extremely cynical when it comes to forex experts/products) grilled him over the phone and concluded he is the “real deal.”
- His website has good educational content & helps you get into the mindset of how the banks trade forex.
- There is a live chat room & webinars.
- There is a 30 day refund guarantee if you decide its not for you.
- If you are able to trade the whole of the London session I have found the signals /(with a little discretion) to be very profitable this week. The average 1st profit target was 40+ = very good risk reward. Quite a few of the trades went on for 100′s of pips profit.
Negatives
- Toms service is expensive. You need to be trading an account of at least $3000 to be able to make sufficient profit to pay for the service if you go for all the pairs.
- It is quite “hands on”. You can’t just place a trade & walk away & leave it. There are 6 different potential profit points. The idea (like mine) is you place at least 2 trades. take profit at position 1 and then move stops aim for 2nd targets and even 3rd.
- I found this week (it is a bad time of year, but you still have to pay the fees) that trading after 6pm London time (gmt+1) & through the asian session that it was difficult to make a profit. This is because of there being less liquidity in the markets that the 1st profit targets were sometimes as low as 10/12 pips. By the time you take the spread into account it is not worth taking the trade.
- The thin markets in the asian session means that the spreads are usually higher than during London, so the problem is compounded.
- There can be a lot of trades at once (if you are trading all pairs). For this you need to have the time to give it 100% concentration, quite a bit of experience & money in your account to cover your leverage.
Conclusion
- You need to have the money & the time to be able to trade the signals. At the moment it is much better if you can trade the London session. This has been the profitable period for me.
- If you are new to forex and want to give it a try then I would suggest you go for a package with a few pairs. It is extremely difficult & stressful to be managing lots of trades at once.
- Its only the end of the 1st week. I will do a more detailed review in a few weeks time.
- I am looking at other services 1 or 2 of which seem to have great potential & are cheaper. If you are undecided wait and see what happens. I will review Strignano’s & some of the other signal providers in more detail over the coming weeks
- There is a 30 day refund guarantee. Interested? Take a look here:http://www.strignanosforexsignals.com/cmd.php?af=1034748
Forum News
As you will see at the top of the page we are almost ready to open the forum.
I will email you to let you know when it is finished.
Fapturbo Evolution
I sent the fapturbo evolution robot back. If it functioned half as well as their marketing department did then it would be brilliant. They have now sent me an affiliate link for an ebook telling me how to get it to work properly! $600 for the thing and then loads of add ons to find out how to get the best out of it! I will post a full review in the forum when I have time.
Ivybot forex robot I am pretty sure that I will keep this one. If so it will be the 1st forex robot that I didn’t send back, ever!
I have had the ivy bot on demo for a couple of weeks now and its in profit. It hasn’t made many trades (5 in 2 weeks) all on the $/yen but for me they all won for a total gain of 100+ pips completely hands free. (alx emailed me and said he had a loss but still ended up +93 pips – I have no idea why the different results). If it can make money now then there is hope for it in the future. It has the usual 60 day refund guarantee.

LMT update.
I told all of my followers 3 weeks ago that the best advice until the end of august, was to walk away and leave it alone. I am still getting emails from followers asking me why I think the results are not as good as before!!
No system in my experience works in all markets. The LMT is a trend following system. In the summer thin markets there is no trend. Solution walk away. The markets main trends are September to Christmas & January to late May. A lot of us here on the blog made a lot of money may until mid july with the LMT.Have patience it will do it again real soon.
Quite a few of you e mailed me asking about changes that had been made to the lmt that meant it didn’t work anymore. There has only been 1 change to the LMT in early June, which was an improvement. It made the lmt more sensitive if there was no trend, Thats it.
The story came from the video posting gentleman as discussed before. This crew were trading the LMT solely on the aggressive method of not taking profit at the 1st target and letting it run. They even acknowledged this themselves in their final video that had they done this (our method) the sytem would have won.
So 10 weeks of videos posted showing how they lost consistantly (watch us lose every week, you can buy it here)! they have now decided that the system has been altered and therefore it does not work !
Doh. It was the summer markets that changed, nothing else. nada!
The LMT is the best, simplest, cheapest forex signal software i have seen in 6 years trading forex. When it works (8 months of the year) we will make lots of money, when the markets are not in our favour we will simply sit it out.
I realise it has been frustrating for those of you who joined in the last few weeks but patience & discipline are essential if you are to succeed at forex. Use your time for the next week or so to learn as much as you can and be ready for when the markets explode again in our favour. We had days in june when we were getting 20+ signals, all were winning & we couldn’t keep up with them !!
Until next time,
Marc

Hi Marc
How are you? I have tried the FX detective lately and found that it is very similar to LMT. Have you tried it? Please give comment.
regards
Jimmy LU
Hi Jimmy, No I havent tried it. The forum starts next week. We will have a section for product reviews. If you would like to write one & tell us what it is. How you find it. Most importantly Does it work! Marc
Hi Marc
I have also purchased my first fx robot.. Fabturbo sometimes ago. I found that I was losing money on the Scalping and I stopped for a while. Yesterday, I saw email by Rob Casey pushing out his Fabturbo expert guide in order to enhance the trading capability of traders using Fabturbo. I was disappointed as why Fabturbo itself would not inform us of the best parameter settings and now i am in a dilemma if I should trust Rob to order the guide.
Mac, any comment???
thanks n regards
Jimmy LU
Hi Jimmy. I got the same email because I had bought fapturbo evolution (I have since sent it back). I have no idea if Robs book is any good, if you are going to persevere with the robot it might be worth a try. If its no use to you then just send it back. I agree though that fapturbo themselves should be doing this for free. The thing that really peed me off with the evolution version was that even thought it cost $600 they didnt give you the settings that the beta testers were using. These peoples results were used to promote the product but they didnt give you the info as to how they had achieved the results. They even wanted to charge for a webinar for them to explain how to use it (it was only $10) BUT it was the principle of the thing. Marc
hi mark
good work..
looking forward to ur ebook , forum and signal
suresh
Dear Marc,
Thankyou so much for your reassurance regarding the performance of LMT. I greatly look forward to your new E book, and the markets inproving. Bring on September!. I started LMT in early June and the results for a beginner like myself was phenomenal. Late July trades onwards have been like a whole culture change. Once again thankyou for taking the time and care to mentor and educate us newbies. I really appreciate and value it immensely.
Angela
Hi Marc
LMT just indicates First Target profit. If we close half of our lot to first target profit and let the rest of the lot runs, when to close for final target profit?
Please advise.
jimmy lu
Hi jimmy lu,
this is very a good question.
It all depends on market conditions and time.
If the market it trending AND there is a chance to continue the move AND it is not close to major support/resistance AND it is not close to US close AND daily ATR – today Open still gives some pips to go (H4 signals) I would let it go and trail stop as described in the manual.
But now the markets are NOT trending, they’re swinging.
You could still use double lot trades, but the second lot would target something closer. Like range bracket for example. Or trendline, or some Fibonacci level. And time of the day becomes more and more crucial – markets do short moves during a session, then profit taking, then session transition then again short move and reverse/pullback.
Better to stay away. Much better to stay away than win 25 pips two times and lose 50 pip 4 times in a row.
ALX
Hi Marc
Many thanks for your forthcoming E-book and daily signals. I am longing to try. Thanks again.
I will post in the forum for the experience I had with any Fx-robot or system I tried.
Best Regards
subscribing for the free ebook and forex trading signals promised to your members.
hi Marc,
bought the LMT nearly 2 weeks ago,been frustrating with signals on the 4 hour charts but like my wife always tells me my timing sucks 0:}
I look forward to September as most of the signals were not tradable because they did not match the daily direction. However, my ? is the target on cable was 260 pips but the stop loss was 520 pips. 1;2 r/r which in my eyes is the wrong way round, or is this because the 2nc target is the same amount of pips again?
Also, have you looked at the Ultimate Swing Trader system, it is supposeed to be pretty good with a 30 day g.tee?
Look forward to your e=book and free signal service.
Cheers
Malcolm
Hi Malcolm. Yes it is the right way around. The 1st target is only the point where you move your stop to entry. The way we trade it here on the blog is split the trade in half. Take 2 lots (mini lots-whichever you trade). When the 1st profit target is hit you close the 1st lot for profit. Then move the stop on the 2nd lot to the entry point and let this one run. This way you bank profits 80%+ of the time & still have a chance at the big move, risk free. This is all explained in my “advanced rules” that were included in your “welcome” email when you joined my free LMT support service. Just a point re the 260/520. If you are trading 4 hour charts that is not correct. You must be on a platform that has 5 decimal places therefore it is actually 26/52. Marc
Hi Malcolm,
did you put the LMT on 5 digit broker feed like Alpari micro?
This makes the LMT to show stops in hundreds of pips.
Just divide by 10 and you have true values.
Make sue you read LMT FAQ on Dean’s web site.
And yes – the LMT does not perform until market find new trends.
ALX
I think Alx and Marc have answered the one about the target/SL ratio a number of times, but to run through again. The target is only the first profit-taking point, so the ratio shouldn’t really be worked out using that. THe issue with LMT is its not very clear on where to take final profits (and waiting for the bar to close below the EMA line would be somewhat odd IMO), Alx uses a fib-derived number for ‘second target’ which is fairly accurate (in trending markets anyway)
IN any case, when LMT works it runs at such a high success %age (85%+) that even if you only took the first target and let wrong signals run to the SL, you’d still be well in profit even if it appears to contradict one of the basic rules of trading.
One of the things none of us have time to do is look at drawdowns–when LMT was working well in July, the drawdown was going nowhere near the SL level. SLs could have been set at 50% of the system-recommended.
Think there’s some UST reviews on forex peace army (always good for covering scams)
Welcome back Gally

I hope you got some rest and missed most boring and frustrating forex mid summer time.
I got really bored getting signals and marking: loser, loser, loser, oops one winner…
If you thought it was bad, now it’s even worse. But some people say: if it’s so dark that cannot be darker by no means, it’s time for some light
ALX
Hello Marc, Thanks for the update, as you say we had a good run with LMT up until the end of June and that patience will pay off when we resume with a more definite trending market from September onwards.
I look forward to your ebook and to trialing your signal service.
I have looked at Tom Stignano’s service and may well subscribe to it, my biggest issue is being able to implement the trades as I work full time and live in New Zealand and being 12 hours time difference normally from the UK market will probably need to stay up all night to trade. Can’t see that happening.
Thanks again
Cheers
Rob
Hi jimmylu,
I recently purchased Fap Turbo and i also bought rob caseys expert guide..The guide is reasonable not great i would say and the settings that he does give aint very much different to the default settings however he does explain in length the main settings that affect the performance of FAPTURBO..So far ive only demo tested it and found it quite profitable however im planning on demo testing for at least 3-4 months before i actually go live with it.
Hi Mohammed. Thanks for your input. Are you using the standard fapturbo or the evolution ? I am no fan of robots but if you are making money/pips with it, maybe you could post a review/your findings in the forum which will be ready next week, Marc
Marc your book is really VERY valuable. anybody who’s getting into this business should read it a thousand times……….. THANKS for sharing your knowledge!!!
Hi Marc,
Thank you for the book. I have read a quite a bit of it in your previous posts and lessons on your web-site but it’s a great thing to have it all in one place, printed out for reference. I have no idea what your original background is but you seem to have a real academic vocation about forex (beside the actual trading) — I find that quite exceptional.
On a different note, I have a question about Ivybot, which you make positive comments on. I have read on a forum that there are issues with their marketing dept selling the customers personal data to other companies — lots of people have received phone calls with various commercial offers mentioning Ivy as the source… More important, some are saying that the robot is a pirated recompiling of bits from a few legal robots on the market (after some decompiling software has been applied to it) and that Clickbank is considering taking it off their lists. Also, rumours are that there are not 4 different strategies applied to the 4 different pairs it does trade, but a single one which is applied separately to the different pairs to make it look more attractive. One funny thing is that as it does not require input of the Clickbank receipt number to work, people have sent it back and subsequently the robot kept trading as usual…
I am aware that on the various forex forums a lot of people with limited experience in trading damn or praise whatever doesn’t work for them at that very moment and that there are a lot of overinflated remarks so there are few comments I don’t take cum grano salis. You and another maybe two or three traders are the only i trust to be honest, serious and well informed about what they are saying.
That’s why I would be grateful if you could comment on the above and maybe elaborate more about what your opinion about Ivy is.
Thanks a lot!
Hi Sandra. Re the Ivybot. I am not a great one for listening to rumours posted on forex forums (hopefully ours will be above all that)! It seems to me that a great number of people spend a great deal of time (that could be used more constructively elsewhere, enjoying life or even actually trading). So I haven’t heard the ivybot rumours. I tend to take things as I find them. If it works for me then thats good enough for me. In general I do not like robots. The ivybot gives me a bit more confidence than the others from its (albeit limited) performance so far. However alx is also trialling it and his results are different to mine. i have no idea why. I will do a more detailed review on the forum, once I can get the damned thing finished. Thus far I would say of the ivybot
a) it has more potential than any other robot I have tried, BUT
b) I would not let it trade with real money until I was more convinced of its performance. Its worth checking out. Whether I will keep it, I haven’t decided yet. Anyone wishing to give it a try, it has a 60 day refund guarantee. If you would like to give it a try click on the following link ivybotforexrobot
Hi Sandra,
rumors are rumors.
First of all, I don’t recall sharing anything that e-mail address upon purchase. I didn’t get any unwanted inquiries afterwards. Just regular update form the seller. That’s all.
Secondly: as a programmer I would expect the code may be exactly the same for the four robots with exception to some internal parameters specific to particular pair. It could be just one or two weight values they don’t want to disclose. If someone decompiled it and just shortly compared code structure, he may come into completely wrong results.
As to the Clickbank code – the MT4 software has no means to check it with the Clickbank so I guess all they could do is a very simple test: exist or not exist or is uppercase or else.
I fully agree with Marc, this is the best ever testing method, not only for forex robots: if you find it usable for the price, it’s worth it’s price.
ALX
Thanks a lot Marc and Alx!
Marc, as you live in the Canaries I dare to ask you what is the tax regime for trading profits in Spain, please?
Marc
Thanks for all the effort and hard work if it wasnt for you and your advice regarding LMT, I would not still be here chancing my arm with FOREX. The ebook is great have read it cover to cover and will do again Im sure. Maybe I can retire to Spain one day…LOL
