I too enjoyed that post a lot. i also recognize that for me it has been very important to trade in a state of eustress, not distress.
Eustress - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
If i had found myself getting distressed over my losses i would have realized that trading was not for me. I had a previous addiction in my life. been thirty years now since i indulged or even thought about it. when i started trading i watched myself very keenly for the danger signs, thankfully they have not been there.
i like the bit in the stages of a trader where it says the winners have perseverance and the ability to modify their behaviors

i also believe its important to trade in a style that suits you. the earth and sky system has given me a good basis to build from. i needed something for sure. i also really enjoy the feeling i get when i spot and take trades i have picked up all by myself.
i approach trading with the quiet knowledge that i will succeed because i wont give up and i will learn from my mistakes.
I hope we all find our niche
as an addon.......for me the mastery is as important as making money

Hey Raa. Thanks much. I kinda felt I was preaching to myself as well. One of those things that you sorta know deep down but need some kind of catalyst to bring out which your previous post did for me.

And this time you say you don't feel alone anymore which I empathize with as well. My wife doesn't yet support me on forex trading as she's pessimistic about the prospects (I guess she's already at phase 2 in the 5 phases of trading even though she knows nothing about forex... LOL... though to be fair she's seen me go through so many services last year that I've mostly rejected...) so I've got about zero personal contact with other traders to find encouragement. This forum and others could remedy that but it's still just data on a screen, unfortunately which is a weak substitute for real person association.

    Anyone here in Ecuador?

Absolutely agree with avoiding trading info that doesn't apply to your currently strategy(ies). Even if it's good info for someone else, if it's not applicable to your strats, it's bad info for you.
