Patience In Forex

PatienceThose of you who have been with me this millenium Will no doubt be thoroughly sick of me telling you to be patient & how patience & discipline are the keys to your forex success. For a change, member Paul E gets to tell you in this highly original, entertaining poem that he has entered for the summer forex competition:

Patience

Patience is a virtue, or at least that’s what they say,

But I’m not like the rest of them, I want things yesterday.

So when it came to Forex, just to prove that I was right,

I jumped right in and ‘poof’, I lost my money overnight!




What a fool, of course, I should have done some research first,

So off I went to Google and what joy! my luck reversed!

I found the answer straightaway, they said it couldn’t fail,

Just send them lots of money and I’ll get the Holy Grail!



An EA which will make me rich beyond my wildest dreams,

But truth in ads is flexible, at least that’s how it seems!

And if this sounds familiar, then you’ll know what I did then,

Another search, another ad, and did it all again!




By now I’ve got no money left and my account is blown,

But now I know, at least, I cannot do it on my own,

I’ve got a forex mentor now called Marc and he’s the man,

He’s taught me how to plan my trade and execute my plan.




But more than that I’ve learnt that it wont happen overnight,

There’s no quick fix, no magic wand, you have to do it right,

So patience I may have to learn, but one thing is for sure,

I’ll get there in the end, my friend, despite my short detour!
