    Default Trialing FRWC EAs

    Have been reading this thread with great interest as I do believe it is possible to create an EA which actually works!! Maybe that's naieve but anyway, I have looked at the Fusion EAs and have found the following over the past couple of weeks;
LMD is very poor, Straasha is dangerous as is Super Volcano.
Hi-Rider has been very consistent and I am currently up 676 pips in the past 2 weeks. Neg-Correlation looks interesting but only done 1 trade, I also like the concept of this EA.
Overall Fusion is a no go area for me, it is just too dangerous and lacks any sort of proper money management.
I am now running Hi-Rider, Neg-Correlation and my old favourite Megadroid on a demo to continue watching it.
I also have LMD on a demo and Fusion on another demo for entertainment!
Will let you know how the demos proceed.

Keep us posted on the development! I also have found that the only useful robot there is HiRider, but it is crossing paths with MD, and MD is more accurate in my opinion. Also, strategy 1 with 0.01 lots has no sense for me.

My intention for coming months in parallel to my manual trading using Marc's advices and learning from it is to devise and develop with a help of my friend (fantastic programmer and braniac) a semi-automated trading platform, that does not rely neither only on pre-defined patters and indicators like any EA uses, nor on human judgement, news and manual methods only. There are really good trading methods known that screams to be semi-automated, and using human input and automated indicator analysis and entry/exit timing it is possible to produce a great trading tool. That's my belief and a goal for a future.

    Default LMD in Reverse?

Comlpetely agree that Strategy 1 in Hi-Rider is a non starter but not sure how to turn it off other than use Fusion and turn everything else off!

Also, had a late night thought about LMD - it has been so consitently wrong that it must be worth looking at it in terms of a reverse indicator i.e. when it sells, I buy and vice versa.

I have head of this type of theory before where someone was looking for the worst EA they could find so that they could do the opposite!! Maybe LMD does have hidden value and I suppose the same could be said for Super Volcano which picked the GBPJPY trade but the wrong way!!

Food for thought whilst I sleep - catch you all tomorrow

RAA Agreed and is continuing to give a roller coaster ride this morning. Only in one euro trade now and do not dare move my stop up due to the volatility. If euro/gbp gets to 9080 again I am bailing!

Just to let you all know I have written to FWRC this morning advising them that I am very unhappy with the Risk reward ration of Fusion V and unless some modifications are made to my satisfaction I will be asking for my monies back. I remain up because of one level of excessive risk taking by Starsha. HiRider has lost 3 trades out of 60 and is still in deficit. LMD has lost 8/10 trades and is in deficit with super volcano being the only ahead of the game with some consistancy. I will let you know what reply I get.

    Hi Danny and others

I just want to confirm that Plius did refund me back 100%, so this side is clear and I am happy about it.

On the other hand, FRWC just sent an information email about new releases of robots, with some fixes we have mentioned above. It just confirms my idea why they did ask to 30 day period and logs: they just use their paying customers as beta-testers, that is it. Well, just look at the Microsoft and Vista, same story.

But it still will be no go for me. One of the practical notes regarding trading with FRWC or MD: FRWC trades around the clock, keeps trades for days (maybe even weeks or months, I doubt there is any time restriction like MD has), and obviously uses excessive margin levels. What happens is that if you put it into the same account where you do your manual trading (and I believe this is the only sensible thing to do untill you have a trading capital big enough to separate it), you effective is locked out from manual trading as EA has already took a huge risk and used a lot of margin, so basically you will be out of manual trading on most pairs at least. MD on the other hand trades at night only, tends to close trades fast and in the morning you have all your margin available for trading. It's effectiveness in the long run of course is still an open question, my MD small live account is still in a negative area.

Hi RAA. Bailed at 9080 on euro/gbp with small profit. I have also recieved the e-mail from FRWC. It will be interesting to see if they send me their recommendations for modification. I confess to wanting out of it all together especially for the money paid. I will keep running for the week and keep everyone informed.

Default New versions for Fusion and LMD

Hi all, I also had a rant at the FWRC and actually got a sane answer, which was nice. Anyway, am now running new Fusion and LMD - they have killed off strategy 1 from Hi-Rider and will also be updating that EA, I think they have turned off supervolcano as well, but will see.

Anyway, my Hi-Rider demo took 1 loss on straegy 1 yesterday but today has had 10 winners for usual 11 odd pips! So week's work done in theory as that is more than my usual target, but will keep running to see where we end up.

Regarding which accounts to use, I spread bet manually on IGIndex referring to my MT4 charts and then use brokers for EAs, but only demo currently, so no isssues with margin, other than EAs chewing it up of course!!

Overall Hi-Rider up 695 pips since 17th Feb even with that startegy 1 loss of 100 pips.

    Morning All

Just to let you know I also trade manually on IG Index and use my MT4 charts for analysis. I also run the EAs on a Demo account on MT4 but have discovered that the Fusion V EA only conducts trades if you have that profile open. Interesting too learn about the new updates to Fusion V. Having lost another £600 yesterday due to both HiRider and LMD I am going too ask for my money back as well.

    Default Changing settings

Finally saw what I wanted on Hi-Rider, which was a loss of 145 pips on all of 10 trades opened - so a nice little 1450 pips loss in total!! I wanted to see this as I think hte risk reward on Hi-Rider is wrong but interestingly it did not go all the way to it's stop of 210 pips, which for a 12 pip gain must be wrong.

Anyway, have resest the stops to 36 pips and will see how it runs this week.

As for the new Fusion and LMD, LMD is up $60 with positive position of $125 using 0.1 lots and new Fusion has had a good Hi-Rider trade and a massacre on Super Volcano, but lower loss than it would previously have had - so is that an improvement?? Also up in 3 LMD trades.

Overall, not brilliant, but then would you ever leave an EA running on NFP day. Will wait to see what it messes up next week and also if the new Hi-Rider stops works.

This is quite interesting for me, but live money only goes with Marc's teachings!!!

Indeed, with Marc's teaching and using my method of gradual entry and position hedging I was able to pull around 20% profit on my account from Monday to Thursday! Suck it up, robot!!
