Capsmart, I think the "semi-EA" is a great feature.

Not only does it make placing the trade fast and simple, it allows you to use your own discretion, so unlike an EA, you can choose to take the trade or not.

So you can see if there is news or whether the markets or flat. You can also decide if the trade is with or counter trend.

Sounds great....wish they would let me in!

I was hoping it would be available yesterday but the server problems put paid to my plans of having a good play...have had a lot to do today so will look tomorrow.

Anyway, they seem to have sorted everything out and the website is working no problems today.

Hi Chris,

I'm buying the system tomorrow and will report back ASAP.

From everything I have read, I have a good idea how this works and how I can tweak/add to the system, and I will be sharing my ideas here.

Due to time constraints and a lack of decent signal services over the last year, I have developed a method which relies entirely on price action - i.e. no indicators, and on the 5 minute chart - with trades taken in the direction of the 4 hour trend. The problem with that is screen time, hence I think this Rover North system would be good as it has alerts and "place trade yes/no" functionality. For me it would be perfect.

I have also been through the statements and my belief is that this type of trading is somewhat discretionary in terms of stop losses and profit targets.

Again, I have multiple (quite clever if I do say so myself ) methods for deciding stops and targets. In my opinion, some of the bigger losers on the statement were stupid - you should never get yourself into that situation.

That said, without the system in front of me, I don't want to get ahead of myself. I'll get a copy and start making some notes on how I think you can get the best out of this.

many thanks for such a succinct and detailed reply.

For me price action is first and foremost. I believe that is the key to success, the indicators we use help us in our decision to trade or not.
