    Question Leo Trader Pro

For those Forex FX Trader members on the International Space Station, and those on the Antarctic Research base, a new EA will be released this week called "Leo Trader Pro".

For everyone else, this will either be THE Holy Grail of automated trading, or another calamity of infuriating proportions.

Jeremy, our System Administrator, has written a review on the Blog, which sums up nicely the sentiments that I'm sure we all feel:

Leo Trader Pro Review - Leo Trader Pro Expert Advisor | Forex Blog || Forex Trading Blog

When I first got into Forex, I was extremely busy, regularly working 16 hour days and having absolutely no time to trade. I was convinced that robots would be the solution, but was very disappointed to find that most didn't work as advertised - or....work at all.

Consequently, I opted for signals - someone else monitoring the market for me, and me deciding which trades to take. It worked and I made decent money, but the dream of automated trading persists....

What I am pretty sure of is that LeoTraderPro MUST work, or all credibility for all future big name, big release Expert Advisors will die a death for ever.

It's really do or die time.

Leo Trader Pro trades GBPUSD and EURUSD. I haven't received a review copy yet, but have managed to link the investor password account access to MT4i - you can see the results below:

MT Intelligence - Leo Trader Pro Live Testing - LeoTraderPro Test

Marc and I are doing some research into the broker they are using and for creating the "proof" which they have made the centre of their marketing campaign. I've not heard of FinFX, and we have no guarantee that the developers didn't run 50+ copies of the EA on different accounts and cherry picked the best one.

I know I'm being extremely sceptical here, but frankly, we are all sick to death of being spammed about robots that don't work, and this one needs to work to restore credibility in the whole subject, in my opinion.

There is one other nagging doubt in my mind.

I develop EAs as a hobby. I like testing my trading ideas and it's a great way of killing a week or two!

BUT, if I developed an EA that performed like this one looks like it does, from the proof we have been shown, I would be straight on the phone to a very expensive lawyer to protect me and be looking for hundreds of millions of pounds out of a big investment bank to license the technology.

If this thing does 100%+ account growth a month, EVERY month, you could sack all your traders and analysts and save a fortune.

It doesn't stack up. It MUST be too good to be true. There HAS to be a catch....or am I just jaded?

Post Leo Trader Pro Now Live

    Hi,

After a (hugely embarrassing) false start last week (the Leo Trade Pro servers fell over due to too much traffic - allegedly), LeoTraderPro has finally been released.

I am extremely intrigued as to what this EA does and if it is actually real. I'm still dubious about the investor account access so I have purchased it to see if it does what it claims.

As I mentioned in my previous post, I really DO want this to be real! But I am extremely sceptical. Having said that, if it is HALF as good as claimed, I will be happy.

The LeoTraderPro EA costs $149. There is an upsell for "Leo Trader Pro™ USD/JPY - USD/CHF Version"...The Most Accurate And Profitable Automated Neural Net- Based FX Trading Solution For The Swiss Frank And Japanese Yen!"

I skipped this one. It claims:

"Taking Neural Nets EVEN FURTHER...To The Tune Of Almost 300% NET Profit In Just Over A Month, Again... Backed By Account Investor Password Access (as it SHOULD be!)"

Hmmm...not impressed too much by that.

After struggling to find the "no thanks I am not interested in the upsell thank you" button, I am now in the "members area". Bizarrely, the link to download the leotraderpro.ex4 file is down - it says so on the site.

So far, so unimpressive. I'll update a bit later on if and when I can get my new toy to work!

    Hi,
I was thinking of purchasing this EA but after being scamed so many times before I decided to look for some feedback from real traders first. So I found this forum. Thank you Simon for any updates on this.

Like you, I am extremely skeptical. After reading their site I'm 99% sure this is just another scam. They talk exactly like all the other scamers, hyping the hell out their product, non stop, always repeating the same things over and over. If it is 1/4 as good as claimed I will be EXTREMELY happy.

Mine is crashing the platform. I tried on my dedicated server where I run other EAs and also on my local PC. Did you had this issue?

    Support so far no reply.

    Interesting.

Simon, you use an affiliate link to make yourself/Dean/Marc/whoever money on this LeoTraderPro deal. Would it not be polite to point this out?

The link to the Elevation Group is also an affiliate link, another money spinner for you?

Marc sends me an email "The Most Important Video of 2010" pointing to the Elevation Group video. Okay not a problem, watched, and some interesting points.

But then a few days later another email from Marc called "They're Pulling the Plug." Huh? I received the first mail, why tell me again? Oh yes, more affiliate marketing (spamming).

Then a third email from Marc "Important News Re: The Elevation Group." Why are you sending the same message 3 times? Watch the video and in the last few minutes of the video it becomes clear.

And for those looking to purchase LeoTraderPro, it is having some teething problems as Simon is clearly experiencing. I would save your money until the New Year, and see what happens!

    Hi Mort
As Simon states in another link the profits from the affiliations go for the site maintenance.
I know that it is tempting to start making multiplications like 1000 people x 25 dollars = 25000 for just one product/per month for just sending emails but I truly believe this is not the case.
I know that Marc is a real trader and not a marketeer and he makes his living from trading.

    Default Leo Trader Pro

With regards to Leo Trader Pro:

    I have downloaded their platform
    Logged into "Investor account"
yesterday night trade Buy EURUSD was in floating loss, but somehow today in the morning it turned to be a profitable trade.

At the moment it looks like very well planned scam.

As Simon said- Too Good to be true.

Why the developers are not showing their faces and identities?

I am 99% sure that it will be another disappointment

Price tag 149$ is too little for great piece of majic software. But just right to make money from selling a dream

    Lets seat and watch.

If it is a well planned scam (which right now I am thinking that it is), then it means that there are many idiots out there that do not claim refunds.

This is why this rubbish keeps being sold.

From my end, it has not traded so far, and if I add the USD and CHF (the extra pack) the platform crashes. Support is non existing, it does not even give me the tracking number!

And if this results in a scam, then this is the end of Forex Marketing, since I will not believe anyone else now, after this blatant scam.
