Hello everyone.
I did something different last night. I normally have my vps where I have MD installed but I run the robot from my computer (same broker). So it was like having MD running two times.
So two trades were initiated at the same time, wich made a profit of 5 pips each. The only strange thing is that the secont trade had double the lot size. Maybe MD "saw" another trade and thought it was a loosing trade and went to revenge mode doubling the lot size. I do not know, I will have to check tonight as well. So in total it was like a 15 pip profit.

MD would only see and recognize a trade from another MT4 instance if you have set the same "magic numbers' for both MDs. Those are the ones any EA uses to find its own trades. May be it has something to do with the aggressive strategy and a previous win (or wins for certain period).

I get your point Raa concerning the magic number that was different. Last night I had a losing trade of 40 pips. A spike that just touched my stop loss and then reversed. But not only on IBFX. FXCM had the same spike.
I was lucky enough that I did not get two trades opened at the same time since I had both (VPS and Local PC) running.
I really do not know why I got two trades at the exact same time. If there was a delay of some seconds because of the VPS and local pc they should have the same lot size. And both trades opened and closed at the exact same time. I will send MD an email to find out.

I'm set up on a live fxdd account. I haven't had a trade since 2/25. I changed to a different computer, but am using the same settings.

Is anyone else getting trades on fxdd?

I have not had a single trade since 20-Feb. MD seems running ok. Has anybody had trades recently? Thanks

I did not have any trades last night. Last trade was 10 pip winning on Monday night 02.03. I use LiteForex.

No trades last night. Had trades on Monday and Tuesday night.
Concerning our friends that have no trades. MD is trading only after US close and before Tokyo open when everything is calm. So if your platform is not active at this time it will not trade. It will not always trade during this time if it spots some unusual activity. Also it requires a small spread on EUR/USD, 2 pips or less.
Should you have any questions about setting the EA do not hesitate to PM me or post the question here.
I am using IBFX real account and I am running the EA from a VPS.

Here was another trade of 10 pips with GoMarket to day (in New Zealand time). Yes, small spead is a key for MD as Capsmart says above.

One more trade last night for 9 pips.

I asked MD about my experience having one copy of MD on my VPS and one copy running on my local PC on the same broker. It fired two trades at the same time and thinking the second trade was a recovery it doubled the lot size. I can only assume it was done because of the millisecond gap between the 2 platforms (one in Greece and one in US). So after writing 10 lines and explaining what happened this is the answer from MD.

I'm set up on a live FXDD account. Megadroid went short and pulled in 11 pips Thurs one hour before US close (fired at 2100 GMT). Previous trade was March 25th.

Computer is on round the clock when markets are open. Gmtoffset is showing 2.0 (automatic) which is what I calculate too. Aggressive and RecoveryMode = true.

I've had 3 trades since march 24th, all winners for a total of 19 pips in 7 trading days (3.2% gain on the account). Can't complain about the win ratio, but I thought it would have traded a bit more frequently.

Is anyone using Forex Meta? I see Megadroid recommends it. I'll do some back testing and post the results.
