Concerning Megadroid It is hard to say because at the same time I also had another robot running in the same account. So I do not have exact statistics per month but if I would like to find out I could but it would take time to sort out the trades. At the end of each month I was doing a checkup and most of the times the profit made by Megadroid was lost from the other robot.
Counting pips is not bad for a robot since it is closing the whole position every time (I assume).
For manual systems with different lot sizes and partial closing of trades then yes I agree that it is better to count dollars. It is easier that way and counting pips would not make sense. The robot must have a standard way of calculating lot size.

So, are you running only Megadroid now and are your results the same as the Megadroid being tested by this forum?

I had posted a question to Simon yesterday, maybe you know the answer. The MT4stats that Simon gave a link to for Pipmania, is that a real $ trading account or just a demo account? There is no starting balance on that account so how can one figure the % monthly gain?

You have a point with the starting balance but the overall pip gain is also important as I mentioned in my post.
I do not know if there is a Megadroid result page. I do not remember seeing one. Anyway I have the "old" Megadroid not the pro version.
