Can anyone recommend which settings to use with this one? And has the new version arrived yet? I asked the sellers about 4 weeks ago, and they said they would contact me for any updated, but I think I read somewhere that there is a new recent version out.

Hi Atle,
It was Colleen that was speaking and testing about the new version.
I never got one and I am happy with what I have. As for the settings there is not much you can do. The most important is the size of your lot as a percentage of your total account. I use 0.11 and I also set the mode at aggressive. The rest if I remember well are the default selections.

Yes, Colleen said that the new version was inferior and that she was sticking to the old one:

I am not so sure about the recent Upgraded 1.30 version though - I've regressed back to my 1.21 version hoping to see in Demo if the 1.30 can rectify it's dismal performance last week on my Live MIG account... those trades were not in the best entry positions in my humble opinion... Megadroid Support claims "The last update (1.30) is developed specially for current market conditions, try to run EA for a longer period, to achieve good results." Time will Tell on how this 1.30 version ticks..."

We've had a lot members getting joy from version 1.21 so it may well be best to stick to this....

What about recovery mode and slippage ? I left slippage at default 3 pips and turned off the recovery mode (it doubles the size to make up for lost trades).

Slippage is also at 3 pips and recovery mode also on. Even if it will try to make up for the money lost it will not do stupid things.

Hmm, I started a demo run of it last night and attached is the results (See comments). As you can see, not very good. 4 out of 4 trades went to SL. I differentiated those with recovery and does without recovery. I used to run this live with conservative settings. I might do it again, but wil test some more using Agressive settings.

4 trades? It would normally not trade more than once per night. And last night I did not have any trades.

That is even more worrying then. Are you using version 1.02, and are you using MegadroidPro?
