MT Intelligence - Statement for capsmart
The first day the robot made 10 trades and closed with a profit of 40 dollars of profit.
I do not understand the exact logic of the system.
What I noticed is that it started with a big loss of 160 dollars even if at times it was loosing more than 360 dollars from both open trades.
Then it went again long on both pairs and recovered the loss making about 170 dollars profit.
And then it made another 6 trades of 4 dollars each that looks like what the EA "likes" to do.
Now there are no open trades.

Understanding the process is indeed a challenge. Andrea has a trading algorithm based on a trend identification (which I have not identified). The EA opens the trade based on his trading algorithm and if it hits the profit target then the trade is closed. If, however, the trade is in a loss position then when the next time check arrives, I THINK it will open a new trade in the same direction (I think this may only occur if it has moved a certain number of pips from the previous trade open - 60 might be the default). The EA will continue to open new trades at each time check if the criteria are met until all the open trades end in an overall profit at which time they are closed, or the maximum draw down is reached. Because the market moves in waves (we hear all about Fibonacci retracements) and the market doesn't "often" go straight up or down, we can feel "confident" that the trades will reverse before the maximum draw down is reached. I would presume the more testing you do, the more confident you feel.
