    Default OK

Bought it last night and woke up at 4:30am so went down to the basement and installed it on a live account (small that it may be), just to see how it works.

The thing that gets me every time is live testing that doubles the account in 6 to 8 months. I have followed some of Andrea's posts in the past on the Surefire site, so I am willing to give it a go.

I will try to keep you posted. I am still focused on that 8% per month "guaranteed."

    Default Tp & sl

Can you tell what the TP and SLs are for this EA? And does it use a Martingale strategy? tx

Marc asked me to be a test pilot for this robot.
In order for it to properly run a C++ library must be installed. Andrea (the developer) sent me the link from Microsoft and I installed the library. It was a little bit tricky for the VPS because of security issues. On a normal PC you will have no problems installing it. Otherwise installing and entering the parameters are similar to many other robots.
This robot can run in 2 modes automatic and manual. I chose the automatic version because it is more objective.
This robot will run for only 2 pairs. GBP/JPY and GBP/USD.
Some of the options you can select is how often you want it to test the market. The developer suggests that 2 times a day is the best (every 12 hours). So the maximum you could have are 4 trades per day.
I started the robot about 12 hours ago and it has 2 open positions, one in each pair, long for both pairs, and is loosing 200 pips in the first position and 150 in the second.
There are no hard stops that are visible so in case there is a power failure you will have to be careful.
I will keep you informed and add a link to the stat page.

    Hi all,

I bought it and I will run it on demo 1-2 weeks just to get to know it. I have listened to 4 hours webinar before buying it and it seems really promising. The reason there are no SL visible is to prevent the brokers to trade against it. There are built-in SL values in the system.

I am up 123 dollars this week so far (0.1 lot, 10.000 us demo), although 1 big loser running (-125 pips at the moment). The promise is no losing weeks in 8 months, so we will see how this week ends.

I had the same problem. If you use a broker with a suffix in front of the currency symbol, you need to add this suffix in the Expert settings. Secondly, there is also a new version that should be used especially for these brokers. Thirdly, all the status text should be visible on the left side of the chart. If it is not, you might have changed timeframe of the chart causing it to stop. Hope that helps.

    Atletrader,

What do mean "you might have changed timeframe of the chart causing it to stop?" Oh, you mean changing from 1H to 4H. Well, I haven't changed the time frame, but it hasn't even gone through the authentification process yet. I sent an email to support so I will let you know how quickly they respond. I have uninstalled and reinstalled a couple of times.

Capsmart, can you get me the C++ link. I will try anything to get this thing jump-started.

Well, it mus be the library thing. Didnīt you get the recent e-mail with a link to FAQs? The support will answer you. They answered me after about 2 days and I think the support is very good.

Here is about the c++ link and some other stuff in that e-mail:

    For Example:

    Question:
I have an "Error 126" on my windows operating
    system. What do I do?

    Answer:

The Metatrader 4 platform can usually give problems
when running under certain operating systems,
namely Windows 7/ Vista/XP and even Windows 2003(VPS).

These problems may be due to missing DLLs in the
operative system. To fix that, simply download and
install the Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable package
    from here:

Download details: Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86)

Most of the problems may also be solved by simply
running MT4 as an administrator (Windows 7, Windows
    Vista, Windows XP).

To do that, just follow the steps below:

    1. Open the directory where your MT4 is installed.
    2. Select Terminal.exe. Right c.lick it and select
    "properties".
    3. In the "Compatibility" tab, check "Run this program
    as an administrator".
    4. C.lick OK.

Now, every time you open your MT4, you will be asked to
    confirm running it as administrator.

To ensure that the Crescendo has authenticated if you
changed the timeframe, or any settings after you have
applied the EA to your chart, you may need to take the
    following steps:

    1) Right-c.lick the chart
    2) Select Template > Save Template
    3) Name as you want, example: "Crescendo"

The above saves the template, so every time you open
your charts or make changes in the timeframe, you can
just apply the template to re authenticate the EA:

    1) Right-c.lick the chart
    2) Select Template > Crescendo (or any other name you
    have used to save it)

    Default Another question

Has anybody run this EA on a mini-account? When you set the lot size, do you take .01 (standard lots) per $1,000 and then the EA will adjust to .1 mini-lots by recognizing what kind of account you have?
