    Hi Guys.

I've subscribed monthly and will be looking to stay with them for a couple of months to learn the system. I'm currently putting together a user manual of sorts that I can carry around with me.

Unfortunately working 8am - 4pm GMT is going to put the skuppers on me trading this system during the London / US sessions and joining in with you guys. For this reason I think it a good idea to maybe have a thread to discuss the system and post idea's on potential setups.

With work getting in the way I'm also struggling with a trading solution at work where I can have my charts and FTC indi's available. I know Raa will have some opinions on this on.

I bought a Viliv x70 EX but it's proving to be a problem with the Boss, doesn't like me it having out...... Gives the wrong impression..... blaa, blaa, blaa.

I have another solution using my laptop stashed out of the way and connecting it to my work PC using an Aten CS661 Aten Laptop USB KVM Switch review - TechSpot
Maybe not as discrete but at least it's not out on show

    Hey, Mary
Actually I don't think you will lose much of the setups during your working time (Asian session), from my 3 months study of MACD3 I realized that only a minor number of setups happen during London, mostly it is beginning of NY, and just some by the end of Tokyo before London open. During that time market usualy undergoes a retracement cycle.

Havenīt seen any setups today on the pairs Iīm trading. What I like most about the MACD3 system is that thereīs clear rules for when to pull the trigger with a minimum of room for decision taken out of emotions. Learn the rules inside out and You know exactly when to do what.

Cannot agree completely, there is lot of discretion in selecting levels of support/entry and direction of trade, due to using of exception candles. MACD3 gives as well as trend as counter-trend trades..

    Gally,
I believe that they offer a 30 day money back guarantee if you are not satisfied.
I joined in December and the 5 day trial period is just not long enough to absorb more than the very basics of this trading strategy in my opinion.

Unfortunately, there were no Webinars the week after Christmas and the week before was very slow with no set-ups given in the room that I saw.
Yesterday, the first webinar of the year was also slow and I missed today's.
Hopefully the market will return to normality soon and I will experience the full advantage of the webinars with seeing more trade set-ups in real time.

It seems to me that there is a fair amount of individual discretion required and I think that it will take a while to get in tune with the way that Steve views the charts. There is no way that I would be able to trade the MACD3 in the same way that he does yet.

if a trading discussion is started on Skype or whatever then I may be interested once I feel that I have fully understood how to trade with this.

It seems to me that we wait for the candle close for a realignment trade, but I am still not sure if we wait for the candle close for a MACD 3 trade. Can anyone clarify this for me please?

Yes ok, the exception candle trade is a little tricky. But I still think the clasic MACD3 trade has very welldefined entry and trade management rules.

If I have got it right, then You donīt need a candle close on the classic MACD3 trade. Just enter on the top of the hour if price is 5 pips whitin the level Your analysis has pointed out for You if all entry criterias is in place the moment You pull the trigger. Realignment trades, two candle trades and exception candle trades on the other hand are based on closed candles.

Hi Ta200 and happy new year.

You could allso consider remote desktop: Windows XP: Get Started Using Remote Desktop

Then You could have Your trading station running at home and access it from any pc or smartphone you want. I plan to try it because my broker dont support trading via iPhone.

Hi Thomas, thanks for your response.

Remote desktop was my first trial using logmein, then Blackbox VPS services but doesn't work from work...... Firewall is a tight as a ducks ar#e.

Thats when I decided on the Viliv X70, works great when the boss isn't around. I still use it away from the office but currently using my Windows phone. Does the job but no good for on the spot analysis.

The CS661 allows me to have my laptop at work on but out of the way and it gives me a similar setup as remote desktop.

I would really love to give the MACD3 a serious go, as you say from 1st glance it has a well structured set of rules to follow for entry and management of trade once entered. I feel that this could remove alot of the emotion involved in trading.

    Guys/Gals,

You can pick just ONE of the setups and master it before moving to the next. MACD3 traditional only to start, then throw in the re-alignments which have the same rules with just a couple little quirks. Only then would I try the exception candle trades. (JMO) If you can't see the trend on h4 in the beginning, might as well just wait as it WILL appear, or look to another pair.

For me, going through the MACD3 online course over and over was an excellent way to get it to sink into my brain. Then watch the charts to see it happen. The Fastracks are also excellent because you can have your questions answered Immediately.

As far as monitoring NY session while at work...... I'm using my Droid X with MT4 Connector App. It works great. You can put as many time frames up as you like (view one chart at a time) and see ALL the indy's. I personally use the ones from doing a google search. At times if the internet has a glitch I use VNC viewer to log into home pc and re-start the mt4 connector program, only takes a sec.

One click trading if you like also, just tap screen. I also have an account with oanda that works well on the droid for placing orders. They have very tight spreads and no commissions.

    Cheers,
    procharged
