Hello from Australia

Greetings to you all from the small village of Metung on the Gippsland Lakes in Victoria, Australia, where the current temperature is about 30C.

I'm an old guy who has struggled to trade forex profitably for about 5 years and I'm now in the position of having to make a supplementary income. I've previously traded on the M15 and H1 charts, but I need to use a strategy for longer timeframes, since I don't have the desire to spend long times in front of my PC. So I'm looking to trade the H4 and D1 charts.

I must say, that Marc's daily whizz through 11 pairs leaves me somewhat dazed, so I'm just going to focus on a small number of pairs to begin with.

I really need a systematic approach that allows me to check a known number of variables leading to a trade decision, so I'm working on a daily checklist that will allow me to do that.

My other interests include music and ham radio (VK3BAK).

For those who know what it means, I'm an INFP.

Nice to meet you. Here in old pommy land it's cold and rainy. This is a small but friendly FX community and I'm glad to say, little of the BS that appears on other sites.
