Thanks Capsmart and Raa for the welcome and the words of wisdom. I will take your advice on board and stick with one method to begin with. For the moment I do feel that Dean's STT is the way to go, as realistically I can only trade daily charts! I look forward to participating fully in this forum. Thanks once again.

I'm also new to the forum so I decided to just post here instead of starting a new thread
Hello to everyone - I've been reading through the forum the past couple of days. I'm looking forward to going through more of the posts and learning what I can. I've been a member for some time like JJ but haven't had the opportunity to dedicate the proper time and follow up on what I learn. I hope to change that now.
Capsmart and Raa - I hope you read this. It's good to see that experienced traders find success in other methods. I like trading long term but find myself checking the lower time frame charts as well. I also seem to jump around to different methods. As you two said, I will probably find myself being pulled into a particular method that fits my personality.
Capsmart I think it's funny that you found longer term trading too stressful when everyone usually teaches the opposite, lol. Sometimes when placing a trade before going to bed I find myself thinking about the trade through the night. Talk about restless sleep. And that's only on demo! lol. I guess I'll find my edge and hope my fellow traders here will help me get there.
