Thanks. I have 3+ months on Currensee but I'm not sure what else they want from me. They may monitor my current account for a Month + since I have just contacted them with interest.

As far as the +1 pip loss. I've had a Good week and been lucky to pull off so many profitable trades. I am scalping on STP with SmartTradeFX. Not ECN and the Spread on EU is 1.7-2.2
I'm trading from Dukascopy ECN + commission while using a Bridge to send the signals into the metatrader accounts. Currensee doesn't offer the Better brokers-oanda-dukascopy. ;-(

I have only super positive experience. BTW, what kind of trade copier do you use? Any suggestion for Mt4 to Mt4 copier?

agreed Thinkforex is good. I've tested them live as a friend from UK set up an account. However they do not accept US citizens, which I am.

I'm testing Hotforex and so far so good. I'll report back in a few months if everything goes well.

as far as Mt4->mt4. I do not know. I've seen some Paid versions out there. I would use PAMM MAM or metatrader multiterminal for trade copying. No slippage that way.

Hot Forex - Failed-
They disabled my trading functions three times- They actually gave me a bonus to hush up, and they promised it would not happen again. Well it happened 2 more times.

I closed my account and withdrew the capital.

Currensee.com is having issues with latency between Trade leader and the clients. Trades are not being sent to the clients and the price between Leader and client are actually making sucessful trades turn into a loss for the clients. I never submitted my application after reading this News from the Currensee.com Forum... I'm not sure if their tech/ software is suitable for what they are doing. Using better brokers would help a lot. We will see if they can offer Dukascopy in the future. If they can fix their problems and build up a better reputation I will consider.


Elite trading Team - Cancelled for good- I was burned by a trainee. He used my Track record to get an investor, traded the account and lost 6k, he mentioned that he had an investor, he gave me access, I regained the 6K loss in a few days, than the following week, the account was down 30K. The guy wouldn't return my emails and I never had the investors Email. After this, I'm not interested in teaching others. Sorry

Hi ProMentor mates.
This is my first post - the last one got lost .
Have been fiddling around here while Rome (international economy) burns . Had an encouraging win at the beginning and retain hi expectations.
Like most of us have blown my account a time or two, lost quite a heap over a year and a bit, but progressing slowly with persistence.
Hoping for great things once I get this support and resistance nailed.
Here are some brief personal notes;
Retiring now but certainly not shy, ex many businesses substantial and small. Used to fly and had a RLL Captain's ticket at the same time.
Now exercising my grey cells, with some portion of charity work and looking to get a few regular wins coming to keep me in the standard to which I have been accustomed. Want to take my grandchildren on a cruise before too long.. Am also trialling the Rover North thing -just got it. if any one wants my comments let me know and I'll make some amateur findings in a week or two.

Try to find what is your style. What do you like better. Long term, short term, automatic, semi-automatic.
Stay focused and you will find your path. Maybe you want to check your charts once every 4 hours or every day, or prefer to trade for 4 hours every day. This is for you do decide. We are here to help.

I've learned a lot in the past 6 months and I've had to learn how to program in MQL -metatrader to build a few trading tools to help me along the way.

They include:

Discipline Trader - Simple Equity Stopout Protection: Not all brokers offer equity protection for their traders, therefore I've had to take this into my own hands. I've limited my market exposure be having a Max 4% drawdown before Discipline Trader EA will automatically liquidate my positions.

PipInvestmentBOT - Strategy is based on my day trading strategy with a longer term goal in mind. I'm looking for potential swing trades and reversal points. I'm running it on a few demo accounts and the results are mixed while I'm updating the trading logic in the forward test.

iDRAW semi- automated trading system - I've been using this tool for about 2 years and in the recent months I've added some important features to improve the efficiently. This tool is a simple Trend line Break method to capture momentum break outs. It can be used on any time frame and on any currency pair. I've added email functionality, sound alerts, trailing stop, and a smart Trailing for longer term swing trades.

Voice Trader: This indicator monitors drawdowns in a visual way and includes sound alerts when drawdown levels are achieved. It also includes market commentary such as market open/closes. I've added sound alerts when positions are opened and closed therefore traders can be using a commercial EA and be alerted when trades are opening. I've used Voice trader in conjunction with my PipinvestmentBOT to transfer some of these trades manually to my live account.

I'm a day trader, so when I'm trading I'm in front of the charts for 1-4 hours non stop.
This is my normal routine and it yields the best results with minimal drawdown,

however, I also become exhausted by day trading and I have directed some of my efforts for longer term trades off H1 charts. There is always opportunities in every market, but we can only monitor so much each day.
