This is my first post and first day on this forum. I hope that I can offer some advice and help others avoid the mistakes that I have made while trying to become a successful trader.

About me:

Intro to Fx in Late 2006:
First Profit: Summer of 2009
Lost over $4-5k within the first 2-3 years while trying to succeed.
Profits earned: I've made back what I lost in the summer of 2010

Strategy:
price action market sentiment and S/R. I don't use indicators or any special software. I trade off a smaller time-frame while while staying posted on Weekly trends.

Conclusion: Most Brokers are junk. Most traders Fail, Most forums are filled with garbage and most products are not worth $10.

Welcome - OK you got my attention because I'm also considering going more on price action and less on indicators in the future.

I'd be interested in hearing more about your trading methodology and particularly it would be helpful if you would post some examples of your trades.

I'll try to provide some information over the weekend. I am scalper, so my method is not suitable for everyone. I have to spend a few hours a day sharing at the screen, however, my strategy has given me great consistency and I can earn a nice profit each day I have time to trade. And welcome to the forum.
I see that you offer a service for people interested. You manage accounts for a commission. This is commission is calculated on high water mark which is fair. Do you zero the counter for high water? If let's say your first month you lose 30% of my account I will not pay a commission till you break even, even if it takes 1 year to do this?
Since you are profitable I hope that you will be able to share some of your ideas with us.

I'm helping out a few struggling and very experienced daytraders from Germany and Australia. I have my hands full at this time, but I do have plans to help others. It's more of a team of trader's that will work together for the same goals. I don't call myself a mentor, but through my personal experiences I, like many other successful traders, realize what works and what does not. I believe that once a trader has a successful strategy, you have completed 5% of the problem and the other 95% is the mentality of the trader.

Yes, you are correct, performance Based Commission only. if I Lose, I dont earn $$$ until your account is above the water mark. Whether is takes 1 month or 1 year, I only make money when my clients make $. its the only fair way to help investors.

I am a scalper who uses price action from smaller timeframes. I use trendlines and my own methodology for determining support and resistance. My method of determining S/R levels is what makes me accurate and successful. No indicators, No fib levels. No Elliot waves. Nothing like that. I've studied basic economics and I apply Supply and demand to the charts. This method that I am using now, took me about 6 months to figure out, as another successful trader would not share his method, but only give out free trade calls for an entire year, before running his own Signal -Chat- service for a monthly fee. I learned a great deal from this other trader, I believe I have taken his knowledge and improved his method.

AFAIk, the process is very simple. I am myself only following some leaders, rather than being leader myself, but I welcome another trade leader hopefully with a risk index below 15

Risk profile under 20 is hard todo. Currently My newest system is up 7% and the risk profile is at 2. The last system was 6 but two systems that were traded for more than a month had risk profile of 48-86, but the gains reflect the risk.

The newest system is short term scalping, and I will add some swings from time to time. I hope the system stays with a low risk profile but most importantly to me, is consistence.

Good luck! Let me know your moniker for the trade leader, I will be checking up and following. I like to diversify my profile. Had to omit most big-gainers though, like Rafat Haque and Winsor Hoang, they win big and lose also big, if you enter after a big loss and make a big win first, it's a different story to when you start following and the first trades make you lose 10% of account or more.

PS: I see your max loss is 1 pips, are you trading inside bid and ask on ECN Market Depth Level2?
