Greetings from Penang

Hi, my name is Kolin and I am in Penang, Malaysia enjoying my winter holiday. I spend my summer in Bulgaria where it is very hot but it is too cold there for the winter.

Was thrown out of work about sixteen years ago and given early retirement. What a gift!!!

Most of my trading experience has been in the Stock Market but I tired of it. Forex offered a better way with less risked.

I have been studying for a number of years and expect to go live in a week or two.

Breakouts are my interest and I will trade the London for a couple of hours.

In the meantime I found Marc and his longer TF trading so thought I would have a look at that but find it all a bit complicated - all the pairs reviewed etc.

I would have loved to see a series of threads about individual pairs with clues as to what we are looking for or waiting for.

Well that seems to have fulfilled the guide line ... Oh perhaps you would like to know about my time orientation:
The new trading day ie midnight +/- broker time is about 0600 here, London open 1400 and NY open about my bed time.

Hi Chris,
Not in Penang now, gone to UK for a while then off to Bulgaria for the summer.
Didn't get to go live , Alpari was having problems with their debit card processor.
Casting around to see which system appeals to me now that 'midnight' is GMT and will be 0200 in BG.

Back in Penang for November.
