    Default Multiple EAs

Is there a way to use more than one Expert Advisor at a time on Metatrader?

I'm using the LMT template and want to combine it with a Money Manager template.

Currently, I have to leave the LMT loaded, then if i want to take a trade and use the Money Manager, I load that until my trade is completed.

At which point i would reload the LMT template. But then all my ema's disappear and I have to start over, rather frustrating.

Any ideas or methods others use to address this would be great. Thanks in advance

Hi, what I do is opening several windows with the same pair, thus you can put different EAs on the same pair and they work together. Be carefull with runnning several trade management EA same time - they might conflict with each other, I have some unpleasant experience, when had forgotten about trade management EA running on some chart while working with another one - I had tens of charts loaded in MT4, and that EA closed my trade with a pre-determined loss, which I was not planning to do, allowing for a bigger SL range. So pay attention to it. Good luck

Hi Niels and welcome on board.
I agree with Alex (Raa) and would like to add some more info.
Technically you cannot put more than one EA on one chart unless you do what Alex suggests.
I think there is a confusion concerning templates and EAs.
A template is a set of 1 EA (if you want) + indicators + chart properties.
You can save the set under one name and use it whenever needed.
So you could use the LMT template add whatever indicators you want (but not another EA) and save it under a different name (like MyLMT and use this one instead of the "standard" LMT

Thank you both for the help, I really appreciate it and look forward to experimenting with both methods. Thanks again.
