    Default IS thursday at noon begind "friday" in the market? in Alaska

    Hi yall im in Alaska which is gmt -9 and market always closes noon to 2 pm on Friday. so does that mean that for me that noon-2pm on my Thursday actually starts markets Friday?

    Yes this is more or less the case. Even if the forex market never stops there is a time after New York close and before Tokyo open that we consider this as "market close". So using forex factory with your proper timezone you could check at the bottom of the screen when each of the markets around the world is active.

    No it is a site that we use to check the coming news. Forex Factory
    You can create an account (just a username, email and password) and then you enter your time zone, so whenever you enter the site, the news schedule is according to your local clock. No need to do calculations.
