Forex Megadroid Test Pilots Wanted!

Hi Vassilis & fellow test pilots! The current state of inactivity in the markets means that it is probably best that megadroid is NOT trading. You could be sat in trades for hours on end just for a few pips. Thankfully my M2 method i still doing the business. I have just closed the final part of Tuesdays Euro/Cad trade (from weekly analysis posted Sunday) for 150 pips. May have more to go as I do suspect that the Euro is due a rise, at least short term but you cant feed your family with pips until you cash them in!!
Also Mondays short of Euro/yen again from weekly analysis (both trades almost "to the pip" entries) gave 200 + pips and taken again yesterday + 90. So there are profitable/low risk trades out there, but I doubt that few if any robots will pick them up, regards, marc

Marc I agree with what you say but MD prefers inactivity to trade. Last night it was not that quiet after all. Anyway a robot like MD cannot replace a trader but it can add 10 pips 2-3 times a week which is not bad. I was looking last night what MD did since Jan 1st and certainly it is profitable. It paid at least 4 times the initial investment (of course it depends on your account and risk tolerance).

Strangely I had 2 trades on Megadroid last night, one for 11 pips and 1 for 10 pips. Strange because I have not seen 2 trades in a night before.

Yes this is strange. I had a 9 pip trade last night.
Could you tell me if the lot size of the second trade was identical to the first one?

Yes, both the same lot size. One occured at 22:35, closed 22:48 and the second at 23:00 closing at 23:03. I am on GMT + 1 on server

Hi:

I started Megadroid 2/23/2010 on FXDD live account. I've had 7 trades, all winners for a total gain of a little over 10%. My settings are aggressive and recovery true, nfa false, and risk level is .3 (30%).

I've been running a GoMarkets demo with the same settings since 3/7/2010. It's had 3 trades, all winners for a 3.7% gain.

I may set up a demo FXDD account to compare to both current accounts. I'm not sure comparing demo GoMarkets to live FXDD is really telling me anything the way I have it now.

Interesting, on demo I run in on Alpari and FXCM, Alpari did give nothing, FXCM on 16th night gave two trades, around 11 pips each (5-digit platform). Nothing last night.

On live I run it on LiteForex, nothing on 16th, last night 1 trade 5 pips profit. I am bit worrying it does not work on Alpari as I plan to move MD there together with main account (until I feel ready to go bigger money then I go to Ducas).
