keen to see your results in a weeks time
i am a beginner and still learning your information will help
just a thought though would'nt be easier to concentrate on one robot only at a time till you get it right then move on to the next,,,say lmd or hirider

Dunno, I have enabled all of them now due to concideration that they might actually hedge each other after I have seen that LMD's losing positions were covered say by HiRider and Vulcano positions.. So I run one version of Fusion on production account at LiteForex and one on demo account from FXCM to see the difference.

Now things are getting scary! Straasha actually won several positions very nicely. BUT, it has requested SELL LIMIT positions, 10 of them!!! on EURGBP, ranging from 4.50 lot to 20.50 lots!!!!! Mind you, account has equity about 60,000 (cents not dollars ), and I have set up the robot according to FRWC recommendations 0.01 lot for every 1000 in account, so I have put 0.5 lots to operate on minimum and it actually does, but those Sell Limits are SCARY. Mind you, Money Management feature if off, according to recommendations from FRWC (I changed it from on to off after enabling straasha and Neg-correlation robots, as recommended). Let's see how it goes, this thing is soooo dynamic..

Default Fusion V

I also was only origianly interested in Hi-rider but I am now running Fusion V on a Demo account. Started Wednesday evening with £5000 and also limited lots to 0.01 as per instructions. As at close of business tonight, Friday I have banked 336.17 and have an open position of -336.48. So running even. I have not shut off any of the systems and the limit orders outstanding look scary as they are substantially larger than the perscribed lot size on the scalping trades of 0.1. Looking forward to seeing how next week pans out. We still have time to geet money back so lets test for all it is worth.

As a daily update Fusion must have heard Marc's view that Euro would strengthen as it has closed all limit orders and open positions and banked another £867. Wednesday's starting balance now up from £5000 to £6085 with an open position on Usd/chf standing at £64. Pretty good so far!

SuperVulcano is generating now a huge loss after it went long at the top of the triangle and it broke downwards (as it was expected). Both mine accounts, live with liteforex and demo with FXCM are loosing due to this. HiRider on the demo at the same time is doing not bad, started 18.02 it has collected about 4% of deposit in profits (no single loosing trade, but of course this is all due to huge stop losses in maintains internally, very much like MegaDroid, with a risk to take rare but tremendous loss once upon a time, just like MD did last week), current equity p/l is negative, it actually is hedging very heavily on EURUSD, having half long half short positions all over the place. We will see.

Current equity drawdown is about 10% of the balance. Most of it from 3 long positions on GBPJPY from SuperVulcano I have mentioned. Considering it was a triangle/flag breakout I don't see a price returning into profitable area any time soon. I am just wondering for how long SV is going to maintain this position and what kind of SL it has.

Thanks for all your hard work testing this robot, and sorry I was discussing it in the wrong forum

I wasn't saying the claimed backtest results were accurate, merely that the settings might be worth looking at. To be honest I've yet to be convinced any robot works in the long term, but I am always willing to be proved wrong.

Mark
