So you want to learn Forex?

My name is Marc Walton(some of you will know me from twitter as Marc12001). I make a living trading forex from my home here in the sun kissed Canary Islands.

Steps you should take to learn Forex properly

1. Get Help

Unless you have a financial background, you don't know what you need to know about the foreign exchange markets. The reason that I listed 'get help' as the first step to learn Forex trading is because it is the step that most people refuse to take. At some point, you're going to need to learn from someone who has traded the markets before, and who has a gift for teaching others how to trade profitably.

If you are new to forex and thinking of giving this "make loads of money working only 10 minutes a day" investment thing a try, then listen up.

Forex is NOT investing. It is gambling. There are ways to win at it but it is risky and you can literally lose your shirt, your house, your wife & your dog in an amazingly short period of time, if you don't know what you are doing. Anyone who tells you differently is trying to sell you something.

About the Site

I started this free site to help other new & intermediate level traders to learn how to trade forex. In the blog I post detailed analysis for the week ahead.

Forum

The forum is now run by a husband and wife team who have 25 years experience between them trading forex at the highest levels for major banks & international finance houses. Jay & Julie are now retired from trading but like to stay involved with forex for their own trading accounts, writing for financial publications like Reuters and by helping less experienced traders. There is an "Ask the expert's" section in the forum where you can ask them to answer your forex queries.

So why is it all free?

I started the site to help a few friends who wanted to learn to trade forex. Forex can be quite a lonely past-time, so it gave me something to do while I was waiting for trades to set up. Suddenly the visitor numbers shot up, I now have 1000's of visitors a day, 24000+ followers on twitter and I have many thousands of registered followers who received my free 60 page e-book "How to Trade Forex." They also receive free weekly trading analysis, tips, advice & email support.

So How does the site Pay for itself?

We receive revenue from advertisers. Also I was suckered out of $1000's of dollars on crappy forex products. & I now advise when I see the occasional decent one. If you buy through the site we receive a commission. Its that simple. Everybody wins.
